Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
This morning, I have three questions for you (similar to last week):
Do you have plans? Specifically, do you have plans for this coming Sunday morning? You do! Join the CPC joint Sunday School at 9:45. We will start promptly at 9:45 because we only have an hour this Sunday. Why only an hour? It’s because this Sunday, June 30, you will get to participate in the Commissioning of the Taiwan Mission team at 10:50 in the Main Sanctuary.
Second, do you have time? I ask if you have time because I think that you should take some time to get to know the new guests in our worship service. Give of your time to make others in the service feel welcome. Take time to learn the names of the youth who come to worship. And make time in your schedule to disciple someone else within the congregation. I recommend about one hour per week – just talking through life, checking in on Spiritual disciplines, sharing lessons learned as you have followed Christ. Who will you invest in before the end of this summer?
Third, do you have used electronics or musical instruments just sitting at home? We are blessed to be a blessing. And as you finish up your spring cleaning, finding old electronics or forgotten musical instruments, you can bring them to church to be collected for Pastor Benjamin Owino of Let the Needy Smile. He is returning to the States for a season to revisit churches and renew connections to continue to support his ministry to AIDS orphans and churches in Eastern Uganda. If you need help with wiping your personal info from your device, let us know. Provide your passcode/password so we can access your device and we’ll have Joshua Zhang help you with it.
Please continue to pray for the nations of Israel and Ukraine. Pray that the wars would end. Here is a suggested list of prayers if you are at a loss for words in how to pray: https://send.org/story/hh_pray_for_ukraine. And https://worldrelief.org/blog-prayer-for-israel-and-gaza/ Thank you for kneeling on behalf of the people of Ukraine and Russia, Israel and Gaza and taking a stand (or a knee in prayer) against the forces of darkness in this present age.

4. Each Wednesday, such as this coming week (July 3) at 7:45 pm, you are invited, encouraged, and requested to join our weekly prayer meeting. We will not grow in Christ without growing in our dependence on God through prayer. In July, we’ll be taking time to praise God for his character and attributes. The link is found below in the section on prayer.
Administration / Events
1. We have a missions update (so check out the missions tab in the bulletin)! You can provide support for James Liang (at UConn), or pray for Gordon and Maggie who are serving in France. They are seeing people coming to Christ, and setting up an outreach event with teenagers, and taking time to rest this summer. Pray for them!
2. Sunday Lunch Service is available at CBCGL with $5 lunches that are first-come, first-served. Lunch service will resume again in September.
3. You can sign up to join CBCGL in the Chelmsford July 4th parade. We are limited to 25 participants from our whole church. But we do need people to sign up! Here is the sign-up sheet link: https://forms.office.com/r/SJcivyc9WJ
4. Beginning June 16 to August 25 – CPC will have a combined Sunday School discussing Christian Civility. If you don’t know what that is, come and learn! And if you do know what that is, come and practice it!
5. All other announcements can be found here (in our CrossPoint Community bulletin).
For Prayer:
1. From Bishop J.C. Ryle – “To be prayerless is to be Christless, Godless, and in the high road to destruction…It will always be found that when prayers are few, grace, strength, peace, and hope are small.” Please join our Wednesday night prayer meeting (7:45 – 9:15 pm) even if you can’t participate the whole time.
