Happy New Year, Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
We wait for all sorts of things. We wait on God to answer our prayers. We wait for the government to do what is right and just. We wait for a vaccine, an end to the pandemic, a time when we can gather together again freely. We wait for all sorts of things. Even as we look forward to a new year, we still wait.
For many of you, you’ve been waiting for the English Ministry to have an English Pastor again. Today, the wait is over. Today, I am glad to become the English Pastor for the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Lowell. I’m looking forward to serving the Lord with you joining Him in what He will do in 2021 and beyond!
This Sunday, I will be preaching from various passages and seeing how they shape my understanding of my role as your pastor. In other words, I want you to know what you can expect from me as your pastor as I seek to obey God. As you prepare your hearts to hear God’s Word, consider, what expectations do I have of the “new” pastor?
