Dear EM family,
Greetings, I pray that this email finds you well.
Have you noticed that the temperature in the morning and evening has dropped? Look at the calendar; we are approaching the end of August, which means the summer is almost over.
It has been more than six months since the pandemic started in the States. And it appears that this crisis is not quite over yet.
Many companies and shops try to open to survive. Schools and colleges are facing a critical decision about how to start a new school year.
Didn’t we all wish to know what the future holds so we can prepare in advance?
Should we …. ask God?
Psalm 25:12, “Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way that he should choose” (ESV).
Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me, and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known” (ESV).
Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (ESV).
1 Corinthians 2:15, “The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one” (ESV).
John 16:33, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (ESV).
Philippians 4:6, “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God“ (ESV).
These Bible verses tell us that we definitely should seek God in this uncertain time. Let’s seek God’s will together and ask Him for guidance. In the meantime, please remain vigilant when you go out or interact with people outside of your household. Maintain social distance and remember to wear a mask whenever/wherever you can.
